The two most-watched branded videos on YouTube in March showed off romance with an emphasis on diversity and multiculturalism, according to the latest edition of the YouTube Ads Leaderboard list. These viral videos hint at the growing comfort and success marketers have in showcasing a more open-minded understanding of relationships.

Cable, broadcast, and Spanish language news networks largely ignored an “epidemic of deadly violence” against the transgender community in the first two months of 2015, despite devoting coverage to various transgender stories. When networks discussed transgender issues, they often failed to include the voices of transgender individuals, especially transgender women of color.

Indiana just shot itself in the foot today when Republican governor Mike Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a law whose sole purpose is to allow religious business owners to discriminate against hiring or serving LGBT people (even if a city has non-discrimination protections for LGBT folks in place). In response, Marc Benioff, the CEO of Salesforce, pledged to cancel all programs requiring customers and employees to “travel to Indiana to face discrimination.”
