Recently there has been an amazing outpouring of companies risking their profits in order to raise awareness and lend their support for same sex marriage. Earlier this year, Ben and Jerry’s UK partnered with gay rights organization Stonewall to create a microsite and a Facebook app that allowed fans to marry one of their Facebook friends and write directly to their representative in Parliament – all with an opportunity to score a free tub of Ben and Jerry’s new Apple-y Ever After ice cream.
