Retail giant Kohl's has rolled out a new ad to "Celebrate Togetherness" ahead of the holiday season, and it features a gay couple apparently making a big announcement at Thanksgiving dinner.

The department store posted its new spot to YouTube Monday without fanfare. A description reads: "The best of the holidays? Being together with family and friends of course!"

The commercial is part of Kohl's new #AllTogetherNow campaign, which "focuses on how Kohl's is bringing modern families together in unexpected ways," according to executive vice president of marketing Will Setliff.

The campaign's several new spots will feature individual stories from the different members of family seen below, all of whom appear on a family tree in each commercial's opening:

The company also plans to host a "storytelling pop-up truck" in Times Square November 20-21, where families are will be encouraged to "share their family traditions via social media."
