It’s not often that a football team gets to play their first game in a new stadium as reigning world champions. But with their appearance in the Super Bowl this Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons could be exactly that when they christen Mercedes-Benz Stadium next season. This stroke of luck wasn’t part of Mercedes-Benz USA’s original plan to win over Atlanta residents, but for VP of Marketing Drew Slaven, it doesn’t hurt the brand’s chances in a town where the automaker is planting some serious roots.

Seventeen media, marketing, and communications agencies are partnering to form Titanium Worldwide, the first collective of certified-diverse companies operating as a single agency.

The network, defined as “diversity of thought,” includes Alom, BaselineGroupNY, Boost Rewards and Glue, each selected to represent and highlight gender, sexual orientation, race and cultural diversity. That mission is underscored with their memberships in organizations such as the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Women Business Enterprise National Council and the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.

With its launch of Kinkster MAG in fall 2015 followed by its apparel and merchandise branded as Kinkster NYC shortly after the publication, the seeds were sown for the formal establishment of Kinkster Brands NYC in fall 2016.

Founder Corey Wesley and co-owner John S. Myers launched Kinkster MAG in fall 2015 in part because they never felt like they were a part of a single community but rather they existed within many communities. The stereotypical images prominent in traditional gay media outlets offered little for them to connect with and led them to believe there was a specific norm within the LGBT community. As they came of age, met others, and experienced different people and environments, they learned that like most groups and subgroups what's considered "normal" is far more complicated and nuanced than what media and society had them believing.

Exuberance, a new design magazine aimed at the gay market, is set to debut next spring in New York.

Miller has tapped Jason Kontos, a top editor at glossies at Hearst for more than two decades, as editor-in-chief. Kontos was decorating editor of House Beautiful and editor-in-chief of Colonial Homes and Classic Home, as well as executive editor of Country Living and Victoria in a 24-year career at Hearst.

Davler Media Group, headed by CEO David Miller, who publishes City Guide and Big Apple Parent, is launching the title with the tagline “Design in living for LGBT.”
